Decent Capitalism – A Blueprint for Reforming Our Economies
Authors: Prof. Dr. Sebastian Dullien, Prof. Dr. Hansjörg Herr and Dr. Christian Kellermann, FES Beijing, May 2015
China as well as many Western industrialized countries see each other increasingly confronted with the problems that arise through enhanced economic development. Ecological problems such as environmental pollution and social issues in particular inequality within society concerning the allocation of wealth, resources and opportunities of advancement are current challenges of our time.
The English book Decent Capitalism – A Blueprint for Reforming Our Economies does not provide ready-made solutions for those challenges. However, it offers an attractive model for capitalism, which would cater for dynamic, inclusive and ecologically sustainable growth.
The authors of the original English version are Prof. Dr. Sebastian Dullien (HTW - University of Applied Sciences in Berlin), Prof. Dr. Hansjörg Herr (Berlin School of Economics and Law) and Dr. Christian Kellermann (then, Director of the Nordic Office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Stockholm). This book was translated into Chinese by Guo Jiannan, Research Institute of Economics and Management, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
